Thin clear coat on Japanese 4WDs
Isaac sees failing paint on Mitsubishi Pajero Sports and Tritons constantly. - Cure for 24 hours dry, two weeks before the first wash.
Pricing factors
Our Ultimate Protection package for 4WDs is $2,200 + GST, including correction. Large dual-cab utes with canopies, heavily oxidised roofs or deep scratching may need extra correction, quoted on inspection.

4WD coating questions
How should I wash a coated 4WD after the beach?
Rinse thoroughly first, including under the arches, then wash with a pH-neutral shampoo. Never wipe sand off a dry panel.
Does a coating protect against stone chips?
No. A coating makes cleaning easier and slows UV and salt damage, but it won't stop chips.
Can you coat a 4WD with a canopy?
Yes. Tell us the canopy type when you book so we can quote the extra surface.
Is my faded Triton worth coating?
Only if the clear coat is still intact. If it's peeling or badly oxidised, we'll tell you it isn't worth it.
